This site earns a commission on bookings, and it does not decide the order of anything
A comparison site that hides how it is paid has already given you a reason not to trust its comparison. Here is the arrangement in full.
The short answer
How does this site make money?
This site earns a commission when a visitor books a yacht through one of the partner platforms we link to. The commission is paid by the platform out of its own margin, so the charter does not get more expensive for you. Commission does not decide the order of any table on this site: yachts and operators sort by the criterion you pick, and operators we earn nothing from stay listed with the same detail as the ones we do.
What the commission does not change
The price you pay
The commission comes out of the platform's own margin. Booking through a link here costs the same as booking direct, and if you would rather book direct, every operator profile carries the operator's own website as well.
The order of any table
The operator comparison sorts by the column you click. The yacht listings sort by rate, length or capacity, by your choice. Nothing on this site is ordered by what it pays.
Who gets a profile
18 operators are profiled here and 2 of them are reachable through a partner platform. The rest pay us nothing and are described in the same detail, with the same facts and the same critical notes.
What the profile says
No operator sees a profile before it is published, and none of them can pay to change one. Where a fact is unflattering, it stays. Where a licence position is not on public record, that is what the page says.
How to tell which links are which
Every outbound partner link on this site opens in a new tab, carries a sponsored link attribute in its markup, and has a line of text next to it saying that we earn a commission. There are no hidden partner links and no redirects dressed up as ordinary ones.
Internal links, to a route page or a guide article or an operator profile, earn nothing and are simply navigation.
If a partner arrangement ever came with a condition about what we could write, we would not take it, because the only asset this site has is that its tables mean what they say.
The rest of how the data is gathered and checked is on the methodology page.
