Every figure on this site names its source and the date it was checked
Charter prices reprice every season, so a price without a date is worth nothing. This page says where the data comes from, what the site refuses to claim, and how a correction is made.
Whole data set last reviewed 6 September 2026. Individual records carry their own dates on their own pages, and those are the ones that count.
Where it comes from
Public sources, named on the page they support
Operator profiles are written from the operator's own website, its published rates and itineraries, marina listings and trade association material. Yacht specifications come from the builder for a class listing and from the operator or platform listing for a named hull. National park fees come from the Department of National Parks schedules as published by operators working in each park. Marina figures come from the marinas.
Nothing here is written from an operator's marketing brief, and no operator sees a profile before it is published. Where a company is a partner and we earn a commission on bookings, the profile is written the same way as the ones we earn nothing from.
The photographs
42 of the 66 photographs were taken where the page says they were
The photography is real and licensed under the Pixabay content licence. Every picture was checked against the tags its photographer filed with it, and 42 of the 66 were taken on the Andaman coast itself: Phang Nga Bay, Maya Bay, Railay, the Similans, the stilt village at Koh Panyee.
24 of them carry a label saying the picture stands in for something it does not show, and 42 carry none because none is needed. The two counts overlap on purpose: a photograph taken in Thai water is still a stand-in when it sits on the profile of a named hull. Every yacht listing is labelled for exactly that reason, and so are most of the marinas, where the search returns Mediterranean and Caribbean berths rather than Thai ones. The label is not applied by hand. Any photograph whose own tags do not place it where the page says is marked illustrative when it is fetched, so forgetting is not a failure mode.
What it is not is a photograph of a named hull. Nobody has cleared us to publish a picture of the yacht Octave, so no picture on this site claims to be one. Where a photograph stands in for a vessel it does not show, the image itself carries a label saying so, and that rule is enforced in the component rather than left to editorial discipline. When an operator supplies press material for a specific yacht with a written licence, the labelled stand-in is replaced and the label goes with it.
5 of them do not come from Pixabay at all. Pixabay has no photograph of the Mergui Archipelago, and none of an actual Phuket marina: search it for Ao Po Grand Marina and you get a harbour in South Africa. Wikimedia Commons has the real things, including a superyacht flying the Thai ensign on the berths at Ao Po and Chalong Bay from the air with the anchored fleet in it. Those licences require the author and the licence to be shown, so they are, on the image itself.
One marina is deliberately still illustrated by a stand-in. The single Commons file titled Phuket Yacht Haven shows the Thai-roofed villa estate that belongs to Royal Phuket Marina, so either the file or the marina is mislabelled. A page that names a marina does not get a photograph of a different one on a maybe.

The rules
Four things this site will not do

Publish a figure without a date
Every rate, fee and berth count carries its source and the date it was verified. Charter rates reprice each season, national park fees are revised by ministerial order, and a number without a date cannot be checked by anyone.

Turn absence of evidence into an accusation
Where an operator's charter licence position is not in a public source, the profile says it is not on public record. It does not say there is no licence. Those are different statements and only one of them is supported by what we can see.

Let commission decide an order
Tables sort by the column you click. Several operators listed here pay us nothing and are described in the same detail as the ones who do. If commission set the order, the comparison would have no value to anyone, including us.

Show a photograph of the wrong yacht
A photograph of a comparable vessel may appear on a listing when the image says so on its face. An unlabelled stock photograph on a yacht profile is a false statement about that yacht, and this site cannot afford false statements.
Distinctions
Three pairs this site keeps apart
- A named hull and a class listing
- Above about thirty metres you charter a specific yacht. Below it you book a model and the hull is decided later. Both appear here and each is labelled, because a build year invented to look precise is still invented.
- A closed park and poor weather
- Mu Ko Similan closes on 16 May by order. That is a legal fact. Whether February beats November is a judgement. The season matrix marks them differently on purpose.
- No licence and no public record of one
- A foreign-flagged yacht of 24 metres or more needs a Thai charter licence. Whether a given operator holds one for a given hull is often not published, and saying so is not the same as saying it does not exist.
Corrections
If something here is wrong
Operators change base marina, change contract form, change minimum charter length and obtain licences, and this site will sometimes be behind. If you operate in this market and something on your profile is out of date or wrong, write and say which figure and what it should be. Corrections that come with a public source are made the same week.
The same applies to anyone else. If a national park fee has changed, a marina has redredged its channel or a closure date has moved, that is worth knowing and it will be corrected with the source named.
What will not happen is a profile being rewritten to be more flattering. The facts can be corrected; the description of what a business is stays a description.
