Royal Phuket Marina is the most developed of the island's marina villages: 350 berths inside a 30 hectare estate with residences, offices and a restaurant row along the quay. For a charter party arriving the night before, it is the easiest of the marinas to simply stay at.
The berth limit of 35 metres is the practical dividing line. Below it, this is a comfortable place to board. Above it, the fleet goes to Ao Po or Yacht Haven.
It shares the tidal approach with Boat Lagoon next door, so the same rule applies: the departure window is a tide window, and it belongs in the charter agreement rather than in a surprise on the morning.
